Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

September 7^th

WE arrived well to Paris, we had the opportunity to attend morning Prayer at both, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Notre Dame.  The Choir of the Sisters of the Visitation is excellent and very inspiring.  We visited the two most important French Churches, we consider this as a gift from God because the visit to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Notre Dame were not in the original program, just we had the time and we used wisely.

From Paris we went to Pau and then to Lourdes.  First we visited the Parish were St. Bernadette was baptized, her parents’ house, the Basilica of the Rosary and the Grotto of Mossaibelle.  We attended at the 6:30 PM Mass at the Basilica of the Rosary, and I had the privilege of concelebrating the Mass at 11:00 PM.

There are many things that we would like to share with you latter, we hope you can see a few pictures and short videos.

As promised, we prayed for our beloved family members, friends, benefactors and people who requested our prayers during our pilgrimage.

09/07/08 Sunday   Paris – Pau (Lourdes ) arrive 2:05 pm. Spend all day Sunday and Monday exploring Lourdes.

09/09/08 Tuesday Pau – Paris – Rome arrive 4:05 pm.

09/10/08 Wednesday Papal Audience with the Pope. Explore

SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO: Visit Padre Pio’s friary, the Old and New Church, and the Shrine of Monte Sant’Angelo

Drive to Lanciano:

LANCIANO: Visit the Eucharistic Miracle Church.

Drive to Pescara and stay overnight
